Publish time:2015-01-26

Nowadays people are getting very demanding when it comes to image quality. New display technologies have sprung up, redefining “HD” one after another. 8K technology marks a milestone in the development of HD displays. 8K, also known as Quad Ultra HD (QUHD), means a resolution of up to 7680×4320, four times that of a 4K (UHD) display and 16 times that of a mainstream FHD television.
BOE launched an impressive 8K LCD panel at SID Display Week 2014, the most influential event in the global display community. The product was acclaimed by mains-tream media as “a UHD display on which the pixels can be barely seen even with a close look”. Eminent Japanese AV reviewer Mr. Reiji Asakura extolled it as “a display
offering very clear images, backed by the most sophisticated technology in the industry”.
The 98-inch 8K UHD display developed by BOE is the world’s largest of its kind. It shows images finely and colors as good as they originally are. It covers the whole field of vision of human eyes so that the viewers will have an incomparable sense of involvement. It can capture every detail of the images so that the viewers will never miss a-ny exciting moment. The display can be applied to a wide range of fields, including broadcasting centers for large sport events, concerts and conferences, top art exhibition halls, telemedicine, security monitoring, etc. It is also likely to find its way into homes following software and hardware upgrades.
