Sensors and Solutions, as one of BOE's four main strategic business lines, is deployed across application scenarios including glass-based packaging, industrial sensing - smart windows, FPXD, intelligent perception, and micro-nano innovation, providing customers with intelligent solutions tailored to specific segmented scenarios and continuously empowering scenario upgrades.

Business Layout

By integrating industry-leading resources, BOE Sensor and Solution Business has successfully incubated Suzhou BOE Sensing Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing BOE Smart Vision Technology Co., Ltd., and Hefei BOE Smart Vision Technology Co., Ltd., accelerating the marketization of new products and significantly strengthening its core competitiveness in the sensing field. In 2023, it built the industry's first flexible panel X-ray test line compatible with low-transmission and light substrates, establishing a sensing innovation platform. Meanwhile, leveraging its advantages in the world's largest display and large-scale integrated intelligent manufacturing, BOE invested in and constructed a glass-based advanced packaging test line in 2024 for process technology verification and industrialization development of glass-based C-packaging substrates, achieving chip performance improvement and large-scale packaging development.

Beijing Sub-center Library

In March 2022, BOE delivered 1,350㎡ of electronic dye liquid crystal dimming glass for Beijing Sub-center Library. The project innovatively uses electronic dye liquid crystal dimming glass to create an artificial virtual canal, which resembles a river flowing in the air when light and shadow change, making the building "come alive" and endowing it with more dynamic cultural connotations.

Zeekr 009 Glory Equipped with BOE Photomask Technology

Zeekr four-seat MPV is equipped with BOE's optical intelligent dimming EC (LC) smart photomask technology. Applied to the roof of a new energy commercial vehicle, this photomask technology features natural gray color change, second-level dimming response, UV and glare blocking, etc., greatly meeting personal requirements for vehicle comfort and privacy.

Hongqi H9 Equipped with BOE Photomask Technology

The C-class luxury sedan Hongqi H9 is equipped with BOE smart photomask technology, which is applied to the rear window of this sedan. Featuring natural gray color change, second-level dimming response, UV and glare blocking, etc., it brings users a more convenient and comfortable driving experience.
